Kathy Strate
Kathy opened up SCEGA Gymnastics in 1989. Kathy has led the optional program as team director since SCEGA opened. Kathy specializes in Beam and her most exciting accomplishments was having Rachel Tidd qualify for the 2001 World Championships Beam Finals. Kathy was the 2004 Level 10 Coach of the Year and in 2003 was the Level 10 Coach of the year for Southern California. Kathy has helped over 60 gymnasts receive NCAA Division 1 Full Athletic Scholarships. She has four children, and two grandkids.

Kathy runs the business and recreational program of SCEGA. Kathy has been involved with gymnastics for over 35 years as a competitor, coach, and now co-owner. Kathy was the 2002 Southern California and Level 8 Coach of the Year. Kathy is married and has two children.
